Antigonish Highland Skateboarding Association (AHSA) is a registered Nova Scotia Society (Registry of Joint Stock Companies ID# 3072932), which was founded in December 2002 under the name Highlanders Skateboard Association. AHSA's first board of directors was elected at AHSA's first special meeting, held Aug. 30, 2004. At the same meeting, a Memorandum of Association (including revised By-laws) was adopted, and the name was changed from Highlanders Skateboard Association to Antigonish Highland Skateboarding Association.
