"In several other communities across the province, citizens and local governments are buty raising funds to provide upgraded playgrounds and skatepark facilities for their youth... Here in Antigonish we see a paltry $10,000 dedicated to playground equipment and very little support for the Antigonish Highlands Skateboarding Association's continued efforts to build a skatepark for the Town's youth. Our young people deserve better. They should not have to beg for fun, safe, friendly places to play."
