AHSA Bylaws, Article 4:
4.1 Conditions of Membership
Membership is open to anyone who supports the Aims and Objectives of the Association.
4.2 Application for Membership
Applicants must fill out an application form to apply for membership.
(a) They must agree to up-hold the Aims and Objectives of the Association.
(b) A $3.00 non-refundable membership fee must accompany the application.
(c) The Board of Directors must approve the application.

At the Annual General Meeting held April 3, 2006, Section 4.1 was changed from:
Membership is open to Residents of Anitgonish Town and County who are interested in supporting the objectives of the Association.
