How you can help
1. Join AHSA
--Lifetime membership fee is only $3. Strength in numbers!
For an application form, please phone Shyla or Richelle at 735-2585 or Dolna at 863-6096, or download application form
2. Contact your Councillors (elected reps) and let them know you skate and why Antigonish needs a skatepark. Tell him/her if you would use the skatepark yourself, or if you know people who would. Also tell your councilor about the benefits of a skatepark.

3. Volunteer! You don't have to be a member to volunteer.
Current volunteer opportunities are listed under Upcoming Events on the home page.

4. Donate… we can use your time, money, services, and/or goods
--Donate your time… see #3 above.
--Donate goods or services to a gift basket for a raffle; check Fundraising to see what's current
--We can always use donations of paper and photocopying
--We often need volunteers to make phone calls
--After we have a site and design, we'll be seeking in-kind donations of materials and labour. We can issue tax receipts!
5. Write a letter to the Editor of the Casket, Xaverian Weekly or Halifax Herald, to raise awareness of AHSA and to educate people about the benefits of a state-of-the-art concrete sk8park will bring!! For examples, see letters already written.
6. Stay in touch. Let us know your fave places to skate, problems you or your friends are having finding a place to skate, etc. Send us your sk8 photos (sk8antigonish@ns.sympatico.ca). Come to our meetings. Share your ideas!
7. Spread the word! Use every opportunity to tell friends, teachers, everyone you meet about AHSA's goal of a world-class skatepark and how it will benefit the Antigonish area.
