Our listserv sends 1-2 emails per month, it varies. Instructions for how to unsubscribe are included with each email. Sample listserv e-news sent Oct 2006.


Frequently Asked Questions About Listserv

What's a listserv?
A listserv is simply a list of email addresses. Subscribers (everyone on the list) can send email to everyone else on the list by sending a message to sk8_antigonish@listproc.stfx.ca (or click here)
None of the addresses on the list is visible to others on the listserv.

Advantages?
1. The listserv provides an easy way send email to everyone on the list.
2. It's a way to connect with more people. Anyone who visits the website can join (add their email address to the listserv).

How do I join the sk8_antigonish Listserve?
To subscribe to the list serve, go to: http://listproc.stfx.ca/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=sk8_antigonish (or, click here) and then click on "Join sk8_antigonish" and follow the directions. (Note: you don't need to create a password.)

Can I send an email to everyone on the Listserv ?
Yes, just send your email to sk8_antigonish@listproc.stfx.ca (or click here)
and everyone who subscribes will receive it.

Can I view previous postings?
Yes, you can view postings from the last six months. Just go to http://listproc.stfx.ca/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=sk8_antigonish (or click here) and enter your email address. Then click "Click here to enter sk8_antigonish", then click "Read messages", highlight the title of the message you wish to read and click "View message".

What about confidentiality?
Your name and email address are not visible to other listserv subscribers. They will not be distributed or used for any other purpose than the sk8_antigonish listserv.

Can I unsubscribe?
