April 2, 2007 - AHSA's Third Annual General Meeting
Guest speaker: Skatepark and youth advocate Kirstan Moore, author of Ramping Up! A Nova Scotia Skatepark Resource [download] (44-pages, pub. Nov 2006), funded by Nova Health Promotion and Protection and developed by HeartWood Centre for Community Youth Development
April 21 - AHSA participation in Antigonish Lions Club Adopt-a-Highway cleanup

May 26 – Skate Pass Skateboarding Instructor Workshop
AHSA sponsored 3 youth members--John Garbary, Emmett Patton, and Luke Campbell--to participate in the first Skate Pass skateboarding instructor workshop held in Canada, in Annapolis Royal. Photos

July 21 - Highland Games parade
- AHSA's float was completely designed and built by youth. It was environmentally friendly--made from recycled materials & was human-powered.
- Float won 2nd prize for best non-commercial entry.

Jul 31 - Aug 2 - AHSA volunteers help with Communities in Bloom town beautification project
-during a heat wave, our volunteers are tough!
-Antigonish won the highest award: Five Blooms

Nov 6-12 - AHSA featured on Eastlink TV's "In Conversation"
-featuring skateboarders Cameron Brow (AHSA board member), Jordan Brow & Brian Patton (AHSA board member);
(This is the second time AHSA has been featured on Eastlink.)

Nov 17 - AHSA volunteers at Antigonish International Film Festival

Dec 29 - AHSA raises $847 packing groceries at Superstore
-includes $211.90 raised for PC Children's Charity
